Orpheum #3 Special, 5-string banjo, S/N 13406, Circa 1919
Although a few examples of Orpheum No. 4 banjos have been seen, this was the highest grade cataloged Orpheum model. It is very similar to my mahogany Orpheum No. 3 banjo, but it is made of maple with extensive marquetry inlay on the rim.
