Orpheum banjos, manufactured by Rettburg and Lange, cannot be dated specifically because no manufacturing records exist. Even the lowest grade Orpheum, such as this #1 model, is a beautifully made banjo with nice pearl inlay on the peghead and fingerboard, and a raised tone ring.
