Lyon & Healy "Mystic" piccolo flush-fret 5-string banjo, Circa 1897
Lyon & Healy's "Mystic" line of banjos was in the middle of their lineup in 1897, and they were relatively lightweight, quality banjos. This rare flush-fret piccolo banjo was probably made for the English trade, as it appears to have originally been a 6-string banjo. Notice how similar this banjo is to the standard size Mystic banjo I used to own.
