"Luscomb" 5-string banjorette, Circa 1890
This unmarked banjo is an ultra-rare Luscomb banjorette, sometimes referred to as a "Giraffe banjo". It has a 5" rim and an 18" scale length, and wins the "cutest banjo" prize hands-down. Although simple in appointments, it is a high quality banjo with inlaid Maltese cross tuners. It has survived in wonderful condition and plays and sounds just great.
