C. F. Martin guitar, O-42, S/N 12929, Circa 1916
This beautiful old Martin guitar still plays easily and sounds fantastic after almost 100 years. It features a pearl bound top and soundhole, rosewood back and sides, a carved ivory bridge, and pearl inlaid Handel tuners. Although only an "O" sized martin, it is louder and clearer in tone than some "OOO" Martins I have heard.
