S.S. Stewart "Lady Stewart" 5-string banjo, S/N 4944, Circa 1899
Stewart produced two different models for women, the other being the "American Princess" model. This was the smaller of the two, with a 9" head and the original ebony pegs. This is a great banjo for A-tuning, and it sounds just great.
