John C. Haynes "Bay State" 5-string banjo, model 325, Circa 1890
This model in Haynes' "Bay State" line had a larger rim than the 323 model but is otherwise very similar. This example has very nice, tasteful, saw-cut inlays on the peghead and fingerboard, and an ebony backstrap.
